- First registration : March 1959
- Current registration: Netherlands

This Jaguar 150 roadster was delivered new in the USA in March 1959 to her first owner in the color Pearl Grey with Red interior. The car is equipped with a 4 speed manual transmission with very rare overdrive !

Documents from the 90 s show that the owner was living in California. Taking the quality of the bodywork into account, it can be assumed that the car has been in California all its life. In that period, the car was resprayed in the beautiful color Signal Red and the interior was changed to Beige. The convertible top is black.

In 1999, the XK150 Roadster was shipped to the Netherlands and has a Dutch registration since. The current owner bought the car in 2002 and invested Euro 5.000,- on technical improvements after buying the XK150. Noble House was responsible for maintenance and in 2005 the owner decided for an extensive overhaul by Noble House. The total investment in that period was around Euro 85.000,- (excl. VAT) containing:
- Replacing the non XK150 engine for an original XK150 3.4 L engine. The engine is completely overhauled. The original cylinder head is still with the car by the way,
- Improvements on the fuel system, exhaust, front- and rear suspension, etc. ,
- Brake system has been upgraded to a later model XK150 (calipers, cylinder, pads, etc),
- Repairs of electrical wiring where necessary, replacing wiring looms etc,
- Repairs on the heating system,
- Replacing all rubbers on doors, lights, bootlid, etc,
- Cleaning of the underbody and apply an underbody coating,
- New carpet set.

Additional documentation provided with the car includes photos of attended concourses in the US (including reports), restoration photos and invoices. Since its reconditioning in 2005, this Jaguar has not covered many miles. The XK150 is always properly stored by the owner and has had its maintenance over the past years.

The cars odometer shows barely 30,300 miles . She is equipped with a period correct AM radio.

These Roadsters are iconic in their design and are one of the most beautiful of all Jaguars built.

1979 ASTON MARTIN AM V8 OSCAR INDIA

We offer for sale this Oscar India (OI) 540 series - chassis number: V8SOR12098 one of 44 made in this series.
As with all traditional Aston Martins this is a truly a hand built vehicle with the sum of 1200 man hours required from start to finish. OI's were built from 1978 to 1986 and are commonly known as series 4 V8's. When the Oscar India's we introduced we saw a more refined and luxurious car being produced, with a closed bonnet scoop, twin cibie driving lamps, fog lamps under the front bumper, integral front spoiler, burr walnut dash and door cappings and the roof lining changed from cloth to leather. In the period from October 1978 and March 1980 when the 540 series of cars we produced only 44 cars were made.
This car is presented as probably the best Oscar available at present, a stunning example ready to be enjoyed. This appreciating classic offers excellent value for money with this model now considered to be the next collectable Aston.

This car was first registered in March 1979 and comes in Metallic Windsor Red and carries a good history file. We have receipts and evidence of work carried out in excess of £50k, with some extensive work carried out on the brakes, gearbox and engine.

Model history

The Aston Martin Vantage GT8 is a radical road going tribute that celebrates the Vantage’s 12 years of success both on the road and on the track. The V8 based Aston Vantage GTE was extremely successful and won many titles for Aston Martin although  technically it was outdated by the Ferrari's, Fords, Porsche's and Corvettes. In spite of this it still managed to win the 2016 FIA WEC drivers’ title and Le Mans 24h in 2017. The GT8 aimed to be very much an exciting driver focused car coming directly from Aston Martin’s racing programme.
Production was limited to only 150 cars built to very special specifications. The Vantage was turned into a pure « race car » for the road with its weight trimmed by more than 100kg achieved by the extensive use of magnesium for the rims, titanium for the exhaust, carbon fibre for the body and reduced insulation. The engine was uprated to 446 PS but a lot of attention was given to the aerodynamics, suspension and brakes to make it an extremely efficient and rewarding driver’s car.
Moreover one very surprising feature was the possibility to order it with a stunning manual 6 speed gearbox.
The result is what Aston claims to be the most track-focused, street-legal Vantage chassis ever, including the GT12.
