1980 MASERATI MERAK SS
This rare and desirable Merak SS was delivered new to
Flickinger Associates in Denver, Colorado before moving to Arizona and
finally to California in 1996 in the hands of Edgar van Veen who kept
the car until 2011 when it was purchased by an Englishman and brought to
the UK. On arrival in the UK the engine was overhauled at a cost of
some £4,000 ( bills on file ) whilst the rust-free body was re-finished
in its original colour of Longchamp Gold ( photo's on file ). The
interior retains the original saddle tan leather and beige carpets and
is in superb order.the car is complete with its original handbooks plus a
set of Merak parts books.
