JAGUAR E-TYPE V12 ROADSTER

		This is an extremely rare vehicle as it is a genuine one owner from new car.  The original purchase invoice is available verifying this. The Carriage Company was invited to view this vehicle with regard to carrying out a comprehensive restoration for the existing owner. There is a file of photographs depicting works carried out and the following is a summary of the work undertaken. The car was stripped completely back to a bare shell which was in amazingly good condition.  Some minor panel work was carried out to the existing tub and the major panel change was to purchase and refit a brand new bonnet. The wiring harness was reconditioned and replaced in full along with any electrical components required. All of the chrome was removed, re-plated and replaced as required. The complete interior of the vehicle was replaced in Sherwood Green with a contrasting mohair hood and mohair hood bag. Every ancilliary component i.e. ball joints, track rod ends, shock absorbers, brake parts, were all comprehensively replaced or overhauled. Bodywork - A complete bare metal repaint was carried out including photographic records.Wheels and tyres - replaced with brand new including Dunlop SP Sport tyres.
