1957 AUSTIN A35 DELUXE SALOON

  • Supplied with a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate
  • Beautiful chrome details
  • Upgraded sensibly

Austin A35’s always had good performance for their class and even led to some saloon car racing successes during the mid 1950’s. The A35 featured a larger front grille, a larger rear window and flashing turn signal indicators to replace the semaphore indicators used on the A30. Production of the A35 Saloon lasted until 1959 when the model was replaced by the Farina styled Austin A40.
Mechanically the car was fairly standard, with independent coil springs at the front and a beam axle and semi-elliptic leaf springs at the rear, it also has worm type steering.

Our Austin is a really well sorted and delightful A35 Deluxe with chrome surround opening rear windows. It has been sensibly upgraded with a 1,275cc engine, twin SU carburettors and uprated brakes. The car benefits from Twin spotlights, chrome over riders, a radio with roof mounted ariel, reversing light and a tow bar.
Inside, the A35 shines with beautiful Cherry Red seats with matching Red carpets, all are in fabulous condition, the colour contrasts the Black exterior and dashboard stunningly. Presented in superb order throughout and bringing a smile wherever it goes, this is a really outstanding 1950’s icon that is ready to be enjoyed.

Supplied with a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate and numerous MOT’s dating back until 1981.
Now available for viewing at the DD Classics Dealership in London, please call to book an appointment.
