1959 MERCEDES BENZ 190 SL ROADSTER
Introduced in 1954 at the New York motorshow, The Mercedes-Benz 190SL
complemented the 300SL as a more affordable and equally stylish
alternative. The example we are offering here is maybe the very best and
most original in existence, Complete with it's factory Hard-Top, Only 2
owners for the first 53 years and warranted mileage of just 11,788klm,
this truly is a time Warp Example! Purchased by ourselves in 2012, the
car was immediately inspected by the UK's leading Mercedes-benz
Specialists, who after a thorough inspection reported only the following
comments: Original tyres that need replacing, Water hoses hard, water
pump leaking, Car requires service, Soft top showing age. All items were
rectified apart from Tyres and hood to protect it's unique originality.
Please note: the tyres were later changed in 2013 to satisfy the
previous owners request. The bodywork, interior and Engine are in
Amazing order which is a compliment to the previous owners who have
obviously maintained the car to the very highest level.
