1975 ROLLS ROYCE SILVER SHADOW II

This Shadow is in VGC with the unusual colour of black over peacock blue with blue leather. It has done only 71k miles and has a good maintenance history. Drives beautifully and is ready to use.

DRR 890B was purchased in 1st August 1978 as the Company car for Colt Car Co., Gloucestershire and used and maintained by them for many years. It has the RREC copy Build and Despatch documents. For the last 10 years it has been in Glasgow with two owners both of whom serviced and maintained it well and many parts have been renewed as documented in the receipts. Since 2011 it was seldom used although the last owner spent over £2k on maintaining it.

The body is good but we have had the lower half refreshed with a respray in the original colour and another tidying. The colour and style of the inside with its peacock blue leather is outstanding. Underneath it is all solid and neat and we would recommend it should be re-undersealed by the new owner. (We have not done this so that the new owner can view it beforehand but we can arrange for this if desired.)

It is a low-mileage Rolls Royce, so it runs and drives like a dream and is practically silent. Data: Chassis SRH 34674, Engine 34674, 6.75 litres, 7 owners (inc those at the Company), MoT to 16th November 2017. These grand old Rolls are becoming very collectable and this one will not disappoint the new owner.
