As the successor to the Berlinetta Boxer, Ferrari’s first mid-engine 12-cylinder road car, the Testarossa had more power with greatly improved breathing by virtue of four-valve cylinder heads. The results were impressive, with a top speed of nearly 290 km/h and sprints to 100 km/h in just 5.3 seconds. The rear-mounted radiators provided additional luggage space in the nose, which made the Testarossa a very capable grand touring car as well. 1951 CADILLAC COUPE DE VILLE

5.4 litre V8 Automatic with coachwork by Fisher. This magnificent motorcar was re-painted approximately ten years ago and retains all its original body panels. No restoration work was necessary as the car was in perfect rust free condition. The re-paint in its original colour of cream was due to sun damage to the paint only. The interior trim is in near perfect unrestored order and is a joy to see. Engine, automatic gearbox and rear axle are running very smoothly. All chrome is in very good order. This car is a pleasure to behold and to drive. Mot and ready to go anywhere. One of the most elegant 1950's American cars ever built, viewing highly recommended.   £29,750

1960 AUSTIN HEALEY 3000 CONVERTIBLE

.We are proud to offer this very nice Austin Healey 3000 Mk1 finished in Primrose Yellow with Black interior. The car has been restored around 15 years ago and been beautifully kept since then with the body work still in great condition. The engine runs perfectly and starts up first time every time. It is very rare for a car of this age to have had only 3 previous owners and an extremely low mileage such as this. The mileage on the speedometer is 28,011 and from an inspection of the paperwork in the file this is probably correct. The mot certificates go back as far as 1985 with a mileage of 16,055 miles and from this date there is a recorded progression up to the 28,011 miles currently recorded. This is also backed up by the previous owner who has covered a mere  3,500-4000 since purchasing the car in 1999. 

The car comes complete with a comprehensive history file with a large number of receipts and previous MOT's together with a British Motor Industry Heritage Certificate confirming its originality.. Very realistically priced at £54,950

1973 HILLMAN AVENGER TIGER Mk II

As an accompanying Heritage Certificate confirms, this stunning condition Tiger Mk2 dates from 1972 and comes in the classic Sundance Yellow and matt black colour scheme. 

Between 2009 and 2011 the car was treated to a total nut-and-bolt restoration which is fully documented by a file full of bills and photographs. In sound condition at the outset, the car remains original in terms of its chassis and bodywork with the original inner wings still date stamped and intact. Mechanically it has been somewhat upgraded but using parts that were available in period. 

The engine was built around a genuine 'new old stock' factory 1600 block to Group N specification with Skip Brown polished con rods, +30 flat top pistons and an MSM fast road cam. Other upgrades include a factory competition 4036 head, Aldon distributor, Skip Brown competition manifolds, Ashley exhaust and rebuilt Weber 70/71 carbs. A brand new quick shift 5-speed competition gearbox with a Skip Brown alloy bellhousing has also been fitted. Other features include uprated brakes and suspension, competition steering rack and limited slip differential. Inside the car benefits from a Springalex steering wheel, Butlers map light and high back sports seats.

Since the restoration was completed the car has only covered some 2,400 miles (the odometer being re-set to zero) while the Skip Brown engine has only done some 600 miles.

The car comes with a large history file from new including various original sales brochures, handbooks and servicing literature. In outstanding condition throughout, this exceptionally rare car (it is believed only about 40 survive) is far more exclusive than a comparable Ford Escort RS or Mexico.

1955 AUSTIN FL1 SHOOTING CAR

A Hire Car version, the FL1 was also made, which had four full doors, a bench front seat, column gear-change and an umbrella-type handbrake handle. The two occasional seats faced forward. A 'driveaway' chassis-cab was also supplied to outside coachbuilders. Several shooting brake ('woodie') bodies were made, as well as newspaper vans for the three London evening papers, the Star, News and Standard. Built in 1955, this FLI was professionally restored and converted to a Shooting Car, by specialist trimmer Northumbrian Leather of Newcastle on Tyne, based on the FL1 the shooting car has received a full restoration, and a period of recent recommissioning in our workshops.

The Austin FX3 is a taxicab that was sold in the United Kingdom by Austin from 1948 to 1958. It was designed to comply with the Metropolitan Police Conditions of Fitness for London taxicabs, but was used in other towns and cities in the UK. It was commissioned from Austin by taxi dealers Mann & Overton and built by Carbodies of Coventry on a chassis supplied by Austin. The first prototype, the FX had a 1.8-litre sidevalve engine that proved inadequate for the job. The second prototype, the FX2 had a 1.8-litre petrol engine, but this was replaced by the third version, the FX3, which had a 2.2-litre ohv petrol engine. Fitted with an all-steel body from Carbodies , the FX3 was registered as JXN 842, and it and the FX2 (registered as JXN 841) went on test in the summer of 1948. It was announced at the Commercial Motor Exhibition in the following November and went into full production in 1949.

Fully restored with a full-length sunroof and fitted trunk

The four-cylinder Austin 2.2 litre is based on the Austin Atlantic and was also used in the Healey 100/4. The engine in very good condition following servicing in our workshops.

The interior is fully restored in the style of an Estate / Shooting Car, the interior being trimmed in Ostrich skin and buffalo hide, with contrasting tartan interior
