1950 ROVER P4 75

An extremely rare Rover built just after WWII and on the change from the pre-war model 75 to the post-war P4. This car is, we are told, essentially original and not much restoration work has been carried out, the paint and chrome are very good and the interior is very nice also. The bodywork is as sound as they come, with no signs of rust, the chassis is also as nice. Mechanically the car is good and with a low mileage from new, all that the car needs is a little recommissioning due to lack of use. I have a good history file with the car.

These fantastic Fiat 1200s rarely come to the market, and much rarer still in this condition. Having enjoyed a comprehensive restoration in 2008 by by Italian Fiat specialists, the car is in excellent condition throughout.

Until recently, part of one of the UK's most prestigious private collections it is most handsomely finished in the period colours of Black over Light Blue with an equally attractive & matching Blue and Grey interior.

This lovely old classic can be used straightaway and is sure to bring a smile to the new owner and anyone who sees it out on the open road!

1991 ISDERO IMPERATOR 108i GULLWING - DD CLASSICS

SATURDAY SHOWROOM STAR
Image result for DD Classics logo

1991 ISDERO IMPERATOR 108i GULLWING
Produced in tiny numbers during a production span of less than 9 years, ending in 1993, here is a truly exclusive supercar for the connoisseur.
In summer 1991, the car was delivered to an authorized ISDERA-dealer in Japan. The car was ordered as a left hand drive, but the exhausts ended at the right side. Only 13 series 2 were ever made, two of them were sold in Japan.
The striking gullwing coachwork on a tubular steel chassis is powered by the highly regarded Mercedes-Benz M119 5-Litre V8. The combination of super-lightweight construction and outrageous power, results in astounding performance.
From the pilots chair one gains the impression that the quoted figures of 5 seconds to 60 mph and 176mph top speed are somewhat conservative! The reality is performance which feels nothing short of scorching by today’s standards and must have seemed unbelievable in comparison to its contemporaries.
At take off, the push-in-the-back sensation, combined with the blurred scenery suddenly rushing past the side-glass, literally takes the breath away. The noise too is jet-like!
Born out of the Mercedes-Benz CW311 design experiment of the late 1970’s. Eberhard Schulz, who formerly worked as an engineer for Mercedes-Benz, headed the company that designed the original concept and formed Isdera as his own brand to build supercars.
The traditional Silver Arrows paint color chosen for our car, cleverly emphasizes the highlights on the subtle body design with the black hide interior providing a sophisticated contrast.
With little more than 500 Km recorded, yet offered in road going order, here is an exceptional opportunity for the discerning collector to bring gravitas to even the most exclusive line up.

1991 MASERATI SHAMAL - COYS 10/10/15

A258_online.jpg
166 - 1991 Maserasti Shamal

1991 MASERATI SHAMAL
Estimate: £45,000 - £60,000
Registration Number: Italian Registered
Chassis Number: ZAM339B00MA300122
Built between 1989 and 1996, the V8-powered Shamal supercar was the ultimate expression of Maserati's long-running Biturbo family. Maserati's mainstream model throughout the 1980s, and the first series-production road car to employ a twin turbo-charged engine, the Biturbo saloon debuted in 1982.
Designed by the Maserati Design Centre in collaboration with ex-Bertone stylist Marcello Gandini, a man with an enviable selection of the world's most desirable cars to his credit, the Shamal was powered by a compact 3,217cc 32-valve V8 engine producing 325bhp, good enough for a top speed within a whisker of 170mph. To fully utilise all this power within a relatively small, front-wheel drive package, Maserati turned to class-leading technology in the form of electronically controlled, driver-adjustable active suspension, developed in conjunction with Koni. Allied to this was an ingenious Ranger differential, which Maserati claimed offered traction comparable to that of four-wheel drive systems. The Shamal did not arrive in the UK 1992 and by the time production ceased only 369 examples of this most exclusive modern Maserati had been made, only 23 of which were right-hand drive.
This Shamal was delivered to Enineer Caliri who was part of Maserati´s development division. This Shamal´s engine was, according to the seller, used for engine tuning experimentation for the forthcoming One-make race series and the engine pushes out as much as 435 bhp as opposed to the standard Shamal´s 330.
The car has been in a well known private Italian collection since 1995. A rare chance to acquire a classic Maserati.
