1969 JAGUAR E-TYPE SERIES II 2+2
It is getting harder and harder to find a classic Jaguar E Type that is not known either to Google, the trade or to the various auction houses. Occasionally after much searching and wasted journeys one might just stumble across a very original UK supplied example that is not full of filler and/or rot, has not been converted or imported and then if your luck is really in, one that has only had a handful of owners with a fully traceable history. The unheard of (until now) would be to combine all of the above but with a single registered keeper from new (although he bought it when it was 3 years old). That registered keeper to then have kept documentation including a Heritage Certificate and 29 old MOT certificates detailing the very low usage. We quite obviously jumped at this unusual opportunity and have very sympathetically restored the car to the condition that it stands in today. Works have included a full respray. Whilst the bodywork was sound, it had various marks and scratches and the decision was therefore made to refresh this in its entirety. The interior has (all but the seats) been retrimmed which has retained the all important patina whilst giving a clean and fresh look. Under the bonnet has been tidied and the engine serviced. The car is now beautiful, it starts on the button and is ready to go!

1989 JEEP GRAND WAGONEER V8

We have a most authentic Jeep Grand Wagoneer V8 on offer. Initially supplied by the Montgomery Jeep-Eagle dealer in Cincinnati, Ohio. This Grand Wagoneer is one of the last series built between `87-‘91and considered by many to be the “best of breed”. This car has been fitted with many accessories, it has an electric sunroof, air-conditioning, rear windscreen wiper, selectable 2WD/4WD, power steering, ABS, cruise control, electrically operated windows, seats and mirrors to mention a few! A mighty 5.9 V8 twin Barrel engine with a Trans-Select Trac-Lok 3-stage automatic transmission powers it along powers it along. It has had 4 previous owners and a verified 140,625 miles on the clock. This Wagoneer has a detailed history including; the original dealer purchase order, a detailed vehicle history rapport and many invoices. In the past, the car had a re-spray. The straight bodywork is nice and has perfectly fitting body panels. The original underbody is rust-free. The Cordovan Red Burgundy interior reflects the patina nicely. Thanks to the additional front folding seat, the car seats six. This is a BTW (Dutch VAT) registered car, which is of interest for business users being able to deduct this tax; it also qualifies for a modest level of Dutch supplementary car tax.

1937 DERBY BENTLEY 4.25 LITRE DROPHEAD -

£155,000

Chassis number: B-183-JY
Registration number: T7 (Goes With car.)

A beautifully executed 4.25 Litre Vanden Plas Style tourer. This car started life as a Park Ward saloon & was rebodied post-war with the rakish coachwork we find on the car today.

This Two-seater Sports Tourer comes complete with full flowing wings, distinctive cut-away doors, chrome side strakes, rear wheel spats and an enclosed spare wheel cover. There is a huge luggage platform behind the front seats which could easily have a single or bench seat fitted to allow it to carry more passengers.

The car comes resplendent in its bright blue paintwork with darker blue hide to the interior, all in beautiful order. The T7 number plate first issued in Devon comes with the car.

The car is currently having a service completed by ourselves & a new hood bag constructed to tidy up the hood when in the furled position. Mechanically the car is strong with a quiet engine, smooth ride & effortless gear box.

1932 MORRIS LC3 TYPE R

1932 Morris Type R Van. Tweed grey with black upholstery. The R-type was introduced in 1928 as the 25 cwt Super to fill a gap in the market between the T-type (1-ton capacity) and TX-type (30 cwt capacity). Throughout its 5-year production run, it was subject to a number of changes. In 1929, the capacity was increased to 30 cwt and it was renamed as the Middleweight Champion. For 1931 a second, longer chassis variant powered by a larger 17.9hp engine was introduced. However later in 1931, both variants were superseded by the R11/30, R11/40 & R13/40 variants. By the cessation of production in 1933, over 17,700 R, R11, R13, RP (bus) and RD (45/50 cwt capacity bulk carrier) chassis had been manufactured.

Originally supplied to Lincoln Council Roads and Bridges Department on 12th October 1932 and then registered on the 6th December 1932, it was used by them for just over 5 years and then it was refurbished and then used by the County Surveying Dept. The van still displays the original registration plate that itself is very valuable and can be transferred if required but we think it would be a real shame if this was to happen. It was sign written for previous but this can be easily removed and replaced with your own company details if required, we have a very good traditional signwriter that we regularly use. It starts on the button, drives well with a strong engine and correctly operating gearbox and has been driven to various shows over recent years. Just waiting to be enjoyed in new hands this van would be a welcome addition to any collection. The whole concept of purchasing a light commercial for private classic motoring combined with its advertising potential is one we have enjoyed for many years and proved to be an enormous success. Without doubt the most economical and successful form of advertising known to man! On test drive the van performed very well with no faults. Absolutely any inspection is welcome. Viewing is highly recommended. Please call for further information. Delivery can be arranged.
