1962 JAGUAR E-TYPE SERIES I OTS

The Jaguar E Type is considered one of the most iconic cars ever produced. Manufactured by Jaguar between 1961 and 1975, it combined sensational looks, high performance and competitive pricing. This winning combination instantly captured the imagination of the British public and has remained a truly iconic piece of British motoring history ever since.

When unveiled to the public for the first time in 1961,
Enzo Ferrari called it 'The most beautiful car in the world'.

This exceptionally rare and exquisite example has been owned by the original family since 1962. It was ordered from Jaguar Cars in New York by Mr Frank Blair and built in the Jaguar factory in Browns Lane, Coventry, United Kingdom. On 13th December 1962, the car left the factory for its long maiden voyage to New York where upon its arrival, was registered to Mr Frank Blair on 16th April 1963.

In 1982, Mr Frank Blair passed his precious, much loved car to his son, Mr Dennis Blair, who continued to maintain and uphold its pristine condition. Astonishingly, the milage for a vehicle of such age is incredibly low, standing at
42,000 miles.

Remarkably, all of the original documentation has been preserved in exceptional condition and presented with the vehicle in its original wallet, including an invoice which shows the additional options that were added at the time of ordering; seat belts and wing mirrors.

Extraordinarily, the wallet also includes the original Bill of sale, Temporary Certificate of Registration, Jaguar Periodic Maintenance Vouchers, Manufacturers Warranty, Jaguar Overseas Distributor and Dealers booklet, the Operating, Maintenance and Service handbook and the Maintenance chart.

Furthermore, the original keys as indicated by their serial numbers on the Bill of Sale, are in perfect condition and of full working order. The original Toolkit and Jack along with the Tonneau are present and displaying authentic patina. Amazingly, the body number, hand written in the factory, is still clearly visible on the fire wall.

1973 JAGUAR XJ-12 SERIES I

A fully restored 1972 Jaguar XJ12 for sale. This MKI was supplied from new to Switzerland on the 29th September 1972 and registered there on the 30th February 1973. It was exported to the Netherlands on the 16th October 2009, after it had been garaged in Switzerland and not used for over 31 years from 1988 to 2009! The odometer reads a mere 83,901 km. A few years ago the car underwent full restoration in Holland. Neither cost nor effort was spared to achieve a sublime finish to the car, everything being duly photographically recorded. The perfectly straight, as good as new bodywork has corresponding perfect fitting body panels. Likewise, the uncorroded underbody is fantastic and as good as new. The paint finish and chrome work are again of an excellent high quality. An XJ restoration of this higher quality is most certainly a rarity! It has an original colour coded finish of ‘White with a Dark Blue leather trim’. This XJ has its Jaguar Heritage certified ‘Matching Numbers’ engine. We have yet to come across a better immaculately restored XJ12!
