1972 FIAT 695 SS ABARTH EVOCATION LHD - Panorama Bay Motor Company 36, Panorama Road, Sandbanks, Poole, Dorset, BH13 7RD

FEATURED DEALERSHIP

Panorama Bay Motor Company
36, Panorama Road, Sandbanks, Poole, Dorset,

Telephone: 01202035626

1972 FIAT 695 SS ABARTH EVOCATION LHD

Stunningly finished in purple and white and has only covered 3950 miles since the conversion and restoration whilst travelling around Italy visiting various shows, photo sessions and doing advertising work. It also won many awards on its travels for the superb condition and artistic unique paintwork. It was recently imported from Italy and the UK taxes are paid. It has a UK MoT and V5 and the new registration for the UK is PJU 869K. We are led to believe that the same owner had the car from new, a total of 44 years. He was il Signor Cocullo who resided in L'Aquila, Italy. We are also informed that he spent several years transforming his 1972 Fiat 500L into the 695 SS Abarth version that you see today. We estimate that the conversion to its present standard with its fabulous paintwork would cost in excess of £30k. You will notice from the images that many of the parts used are genuine Abarth 695 parts. The rear seats of the car have been removed to accommodate the fabulous stereo system which is a Blaupunkt GTA480 stereo unit with infinity 10 subs with real gold wiring creating an astonishing sound. The vehicle has a very special paint finish, many genuine Abarth parts including original Abarth 13 x5 alloy wheels and a special transparent sunshine roof. The many other features include: special hand made bumpers, led lighting, raised rear engine lid, sports exhaust system, outside bonnet, catches, 695 and Abarth badges, door mirrors, Abarth door handles/switches/steering wheel, plus UK and Euro lights. The folder includes HPi certificate, current MoT, copy of Italian title and paperwork, photo albums and 94 images of the car from its original state to the standard it is today. The images include a photo of the 70-year-old owner who converted and carried out the work. Also included is a CD with further images and a document holder. We have never seen a closer evocation to the marque or a vehicle with such a detailed restoration. It is thrilling to drive and an absolute head-turner. Offered at a fraction of its cost

1964 FIAT 600D - Belvoir Classic Cars Newark Nottinghamshire

TODAYS FEATURED DEALER

Belvoir Classic Cars
Newark Nottinghamshire

1964 FIAT 600D
The Fiat 600 range was launched the mid-50s and was proven to be very popular as was slightly larger than its cousin the 500. Also had the 4 cylinder water cooled engine supply more power and making it a nicer driving experience than the 500. The very early models had suicide doors and a 633 cc engine. This "suicide "option was banned in 1964. My example is a 1964 and is one of the 1st to be equipped with normal opening doors and the larger 767cc engine also water cooled. This 600 is in stunning condition everywhere you look and drives spot on. This 600 which is one of approx 78 roads legal in the UK at the moment has an unusual fact. The car has had one private owner from new!
This 600 was subject to a full restoration in 2017 in Italy. The paintwork is fab having had a bare metal paintwork done in 2017. The interior has all been renewed in its original colours of Tan with Black piping. The 600 benefits from a fold down back seat for more luggage space. The original steering wheel is in fantastic condition. Under the bonnet and in the engine bay is very very clean indeed. Mechanically the car is excellent with no issues, no leaks and starts 1st time every time, this little Fiat can really be driven with confidence. A recent MOT  has been put on the car to take away any niggling doubts. The mileage on the clock states 54k kilometres which we have no reason to doubt is correct. Finding a nice 600D for sale here in the UK is hard, finding one in this condition is even harder. If you are looking for something a bit different that won't break the bank and is minimal in running costs then here it is.

Uk. delivery is available, and part exchange is considered.

FIAT 500D TRASFORMABILE Right Hand Drive - Signature Automobiles Beckenham Kent

TODAYS FEATURED DEALER
Signature Automobiles
Beckenham Kent
Telephone: 07717 472131

FIAT 500D TRASFORMABILE

Right Hand Drive

This highly desirable genuine UK Right Hand Drive ‘D’ model (the most sort after & collectable model in the classic 500 range) has the very rare ‘suicide doors’, a full length convertible sunshine roof - ‘trasformabile’, ‘round speedo’ & original but fully rebuilt matching 110D engine - In fact it has it all!

It’s an original RHD UK example first registered here from new on 1st November 1964 & has been with the current Italian owner whom resides in Sevenoaks, Kent since 20th May 2010. Indeed we know the owner (Giuseppe) & have tracked this cars most impressive restoration journey over the last 3 years.

The story begins when the car was purchased by Giuseppe as a rolling restoration project in early 2010. We were offered the car at that point, but felt that by the time we had restored the car properly, the vehicle would owe us over £30K, so decided that for us it wouldn’t be economically viable.

Giuseppe on the other hand already had a RHD 500L with an uprated engine that he has owned for many years since his children were young & used it most weekends, so he felt this RHD 500D would complement his collection. As he was doing the car for himself, he decided to commence the restoration. (We have also purchased the RHD 500L as part of the deal).

The 500D has handed to a well know garage in Dulwich, London that specialise in Italian cars & indeed have the requisite skills to do a full nut & bolt pain staking restoration to concourse standard, which has only recently been fully completed. This included: Complete strip to bare metal shell, the structure & floors were examined & new floors correctly fitted along with new front wings, outer rear wheel arches & cills. Complete new wiring was installed. The original interior was also sent to the trimmer & fully and expertly retrimmed in Red / cream. The engine was sent to Italy & fully & expertly rebuilt at a cost of over £2K. The gear box was also fully rebuilt along with all other mechanical items. The clutch was replaced along with all consumables, the petrol tank was fully refurbished and flushed, the complete door card set & interior trim was renewed, including the full length sunroof & roof frame, other items of interior trim were refurbished or replaced. The lights were replaced, all rubber items were replaced including the door seals, windscreen & quarter light rubbers, new glass was also fitted as required, new bushes, new suspension & shocks etc, recon starter motor and a new exhaust, in fact every mechanical item was either refurbished or replaced.

The bumpers & brackets were replaced, new wing mirrors fitted, fully shot blasted & refurbished original Fiat steel wheels, new Pirelli matching tyres with white wall bands. The car was fully painted at this time in the beautiful shade Fiat Verde Chiaro 363 – Light Green that you see today, this includes the cabin area, boot & engine bay. In fact it looks as good underneath as it does on the top!

This truly impressive example is just showing 41,000 Miles from new, believed correct, but only circa 50 test miles since restoration.

This stunning vehicle has had a no expense spared restoration as stated so looks & feels as new & certainly better quality than when produced at the Fiat factory in Turin in 1964. All parts were supplied by Ricambio International Ltd at a cost of over £6K, The engine rebuild was £2K & the total spend exceeds £28K.

Since being in our possession we have been meticulous in our further preparation prior to offering this exception example to the market by undertaking the following works: Manufactured & fitted a new grey mohair trasformabile roof. We have the black one that came with the car should you prefer, but we feel the grey mohair roof looks exceptional. Supplied & fitted a new set of white wall spats, Italian ‘D’ decal set. Italian number plate surrounds. ACI decal, Aluminium lower side body blades, premium heat shield pad, new correct D ashtray & a new Varta premium battery. The car was just fully serviced by the restoring garage & needed no further servicing work. It drove beautifully on the trip from Sevenoaks to our workshop - A real pleasure to behold & drive!

The car looks as new and is no doubt better than when it left the factory in 1964, It’s probably the best example in Europe, has been correctly restored by people who know the marquee. This is a collector’s opportunity and a superb investment. It has only driven a nominal mileage since its full restoration & are offering it to the market for the first time as a restored vehicle!

Fiat Verde Chiaro 363 – Light Green paintwork with a new red / cram interior, including matching door cards & a new grey full length mohair convertible sunshine roof, with matching 500D belt to hold back & associated clips.

The vehicle comes with a history file & contains the UK V5C, Fresh current UK MOT, Copious photos showing car during the restoration process in Dulwich & on completion, plus at the owner’s residence in Sevenoaks.

Current MOT with NO advisories.

Fully UK registered with V5C & historic road tax applicable (Free).

Keys on Fiat 500 key ring, Original 500D tool kit, correct original unrestored 500D jack & brace, spare wheel with tyre.

Fully refurbished Fiat steel wheels finished in white, with the correct matching Pirelli tyres fitted with new white wall spats.

Period boot rack with leather luggage fitted.
Our Fiats come recommended by a leading authority – Ricambio International Ltd. I actually have a light blue 1964 500D that makes up part of my own private collection & everybody loves it! It always puts a smile on my face, plus you don’t need to worry about the rising petrol prices – Just enjoy!

As we are a Mercedes Pagoda and R107 specialist we are always happy to part exchange one of these type of cars or indeed any classic car of excellent quality, so please don’t miss this most fastidious example of the iconic Fiat 500D. This vehicle is exceptional value, try & find another as original & with such low mileage & ownership – Please remember ‘you get what you pay for’. Our cars are handpicked by a marquee expert & we turn down 8 or 9 out of every 10 cars offered. The cars we sell, are we believe the best of their type & are here to be viewed & driven in the UK. This takes the gamble out of buying a car direct from Europe sight unseen. Our stock comes fully UK MOT’d, serviced & detailed. Don’t confuse them with other cars on the internet which have had dubious restorations & are offered with a low asking price. There is always a reason why a car is being sold cheaply! Again ‘you get what you pay for’…

This vehicle is we believe the best in Europe don’t settle and ensure you view this stunning example…

More photos available upon request, PX always considered.

Can be viewed at any reasonable time by prior appointment.
We will always buy back cars we have previously sold…

Delivery by road, or packed and shipped, or air freight all possible by arrangement at excellent rates, car is ready to drive away today or be delivered to your door…

We are always keen to purchase Mercedes Benz Pagoda’s (W113) or late 300SL (R107) models, so please give us a call for a friendly chat if you are considering selling, we would love to hear from you. We also hold many parts in stock for the above models & have our own restoration facilities, where we restore these glorious old Mercedes to Stuttgart factory standards.
