1972 FIAT 695 SS ABARTH EVOCATION LHD

Stunningly finished in purple and white and has only covered 3950 miles since the conversion and restoration whilst travelling around Italy visiting various shows, photo sessions and doing advertising work. It also won many awards on its travels for the superb condition and artistic unique paintwork. It was recently imported from Italy and the UK taxes are paid. It has a UK MoT and V5 and the new registration for the UK is PJU 869K. We are led to believe that the same owner had the car from new, a total of 44 years. He was il Signor Cocullo who resided in L'Aquila, Italy. We are also informed that he spent several years transforming his 1972 Fiat 500L into the 695 SS Abarth version that you see today. We estimate that the conversion to its present standard with its fabulous paintwork would cost in excess of £30k. You will notice from the images that many of the parts used are genuine Abarth 695 parts. The rear seats of the car have been removed to accommodate the fabulous stereo system which is a Blaupunkt GTA480 stereo unit with infinity 10 subs with real gold wiring creating an astonishing sound. The vehicle has a very special paint finish, many genuine Abarth parts including original Abarth 13 x5 alloy wheels and a special transparent sunshine roof. The many other features include: special hand made bumpers, led lighting, raised rear engine lid, sports exhaust system, outside bonnet, catches, 695 and Abarth badges, door mirrors, Abarth door handles/switches/steering wheel, plus UK and Euro lights. The folder includes HPi certificate, current MoT, copy of Italian title and paperwork, photo albums and 94 images of the car from its original state to the standard it is today. The images include a photo of the 70-year-old owner who converted and carried out the work. Also included is a CD with further images and a document holder. We have never seen a closer evocation to the marque or a vehicle with such a detailed restoration. It is thrilling to drive and an absolute head-turner. Offered at a fraction of its cost

1955 COMMER EXPRESS DELIVERY VAN

This very rare van is finished in green with red trim and has had 5 keepers and has covered only 31000 miles from new, we have been led to believe. It is a historic vehicle so is exempt from both MoT and road Tax. It has formed part of a large private museum/car collection for many years in Redruth, Cornwall. It is in remarkable original condition apart from a repaint which took place some years ago. This is a very charming and useful van for Company advertising, historic car collection, museum or just for fun. Only a few of this type of van remain in the world and the valuable registration number SPX 740 is sold with the van and is transferable. The history folder includes: current V5, DVLA paperwork, various images and catalogues of the new car range at the time, original Owners handbook, lubrication chart, wiring diagram, images of this type of van when new, technical data sheet, dashboard layout leaflet, maintenance chart, various write-ups and original workshop manual. The features include wing mirrors, drivers door mirror, heater, cigarette lighter, period black, and silver number plates, wood panelling to rear, chrome hubcaps with chrome rim embellishers, period white steering wheel, ashtray, side chrome strip, and 2 opening rear doors. Out of all the Commer group of vans, the Express was the most popular with a payload of 9cwt and using the 1390cc engine and 4-speed column gears from the Minx Saloon. So this beautiful van offers good performance and economy and is a real rarity for showing. We do not think you will see another one like this at any of the car shows.

1974 FIAT 238 AMBULANCE

Now this is Rare…
This ambulance is extremely rare, only a few in existence globally.
1974 Fiat 238 Ambulance, Converted to a basic camper van with Rock N Roll bed and power supply but keeping many of it’s original features.
It’s 1438cc, Manual 4 speed transmission, Front wheel drive. It has only covered 4500 miles. It drives very well, very smooth in the gear change and even in the recent hot heat, the engine stays very cool.
This vehicle was purchased new by the Italian ambulance service, it was located in a very quiet Italian village. It saw very little use over the years, As the years went on it was superseded by newer models but the senior officer at the Ambulance station keep hold of this little gem for the major of it’s life. Kept inside all this time away from the world! When it emerged it was in time capsule form! Barely used in 40 years and showing only 7,000 km’s!! Unbelievable!
The owner bought this vehicle several years ago and started the restoration project, even though it had only covered 7,000 KM!! it still required lots of replacement parts and restoration.
The owner went about the restoration through a classic car restorers local to him. The van has been completely re-built mechanically, Including:
New Brakes, New Clutch, Rebuilt Suspension, New Ignition system, New Exhaust, New Cooling System, Brand new Wiring, New Fuel pump, New Alternator, New Battery and added Leisure Battery, Powder coated Wheels, New tyres plus spare, Additional Oil and Voltage gages installed, New Radio and speakers, New flashing lights, New Headlights and Tail lights, Re-chromed rear bumper, Re-upholstered front seats & modified storage seat, New rock ‘n’ roll bed and new floor throughout, Additional cooling fan, New windows seals
It has all the basics to be self sufficient on the road, but been kept as original as possible.
The stretcher in the back has been removed, as have the 2 rear seats but are available if required.
The paintwork is original apart from a few touch up’s where the paint had cracked, but there is absolutely no rust.
The interior has been kept pretty much as it was, the dymo labelling in the front cab has been translated into English, the cupboards now have battery interior lights, the floor has a more hardwearing rubber matting, and all the seats have been re-covered in soft Italian leather to keep it authentic.
They have added a couple of cigar lighter sockets and a USB port, and it’s now got a Leisure battery so you can plug anything in and even make toast in the morning!
It’s fully registered in the UK with a age related numberplate.
It is Tax exempt and from May 2018, it will be MOT exempt with the new MOT laws come into play.
“Vehicles over 40 years old will be exempt from UK MOT test”
Its dimensions are:
Length 4590mm
Width 1484mm
Height 2250mm
USA Exportable, We can assist with world wide shipping!
