2009 LOTUS EXIGE S SPRINT PERFORMANCE AND TOURING SPORTS COUPE

This is a S2 SPRINT 240 Limited edition with manufacturers plaque number 1979. It is one of only 20 yellow and white cars produced by Lotus worldwide to celebrate 40 years of the Lotus Elan Sprint and only a further 20 cars were built and painted in green and white. This right-hand drive, UK supplied car is finished in the best colours of yellow and white trimmed with gold coach lines. The yellow and black leather interior trim beautifully complements the colour scheme. The car has had only one lady owner from new and has covered a genuine 60000 miles, supported by a full Lotus history. The car was serviced at pdi, 1100, 10000, 23000, 30000, 42000, 52000 miles and a recent service which will be included with the sale of the car. The vehicle has recently been fitted with new brakes, discs, pads, and belts. It is a six-speed manual with abs braking, traction control, Bilstein shock absorbers, coil spring, and suspension, cross drilled brakes, 14 spoke black alloys, sports exhaust, rear spoiler and is supercharged with 240bhp, and 0-60 in 4 secs. It also sports an Alpine stereo and speakers, darker tinted glass, meshed engine bay, electric windows, and sports seats.

The history folder includes maintenance record service history book, photocopies of the same, current and previous MoTs, MoT related paperwork, current V5, Owners handbook, supplement Owners handbook, original BRG Lotus document holder, Lotus assistance paperwork, alpine stereo documents and operating manual, original suppliers document holder, Government MoT history printout, DVLA paperwork, sales catalogue, invoices, various write-ups on the Exige and correspondence. This exciting car can be used on both track and road and is an exhilarating ride in either case. Definitely a future collectors car with great investment potential. £34995

1969 LAMBORGHINI MIURA S

Chassis No: 4000

Probably the finest restored Miura ever offered for sale. Fresh from a total restoration by model experts Cremonini and finished in its original colour combination. A matching number example that was originally supplied new to Voitures Paris Monceau, the official Lamborghini dealer of Paris. Currently UK registered, accompanied by a very well documented history file and awaiting its Lamborghini Polo Storico certification. Unlike the later 'SV', the 'S' retained the iconic eyelashes and original body styling and in turn is considered by many collectors to be the purer variant.

1967 LOTUS ELAN S4/SE FHC - UK SPORTS CARS

Well the weekend is upon us again and hopefully the weather where you are stays sunny & rain free.
We look at something today to bring back memories of the swinging sixties and comes from the stock of
To me the Lotus Elan brings backs memories of The Avengers and Diana Rigg playing the role of Emma Peel along with bowler hatted Patrick McNee as John Steed.
So as our Classic of the Day for today is

Lotus Elan S4/SE F.H.C., 1967.   Last owner for 20 years and just 2 former registered keepers.  Delightful example in Cirrus white with a very original interior with the benefit of a replacement dashboard of superb quality.   Replacement wiring loom.  The car was rebuilt on a genuine Lotus chassis a number of years ago and it feels very taut in the handling department.  MOT Certificates going back 30 years.  Masses of documented history stretching back to the Seventies. Period Radiomobile and map reading lamp. A really lovely example with exquisite road manners and a lovely well cared-for feel.  Full MOT and 12 months tax (road tax fee exempt).
