1963 MORRIS MINI TRAVELLER

1963 Morris Mini Traveller in stunning Surf blue. This outstanding early traveller has the flat roof, long gear lever and as much charm as an old period cottage! Driving on the roads today it looks like a real piece of history as is admired by everyone who sees it. It was found in a dry barn in 2001 where it had been sat since 1981. 6 years later it was totally restored and being driven again when the sun was shining. The quality of restoration was clearly high as 10 years on it still looks immaculate and drives wonderfully. During the restoration, the only upgrade was to the front brakes which are now twin leading shoe which stop the mini well. It has been loved and maintained and enjoyed making regular trips from Kent down to Goodwood by its last owner. It has only had 4 owners in the past 55 years, covering 31500 miles. I have a thick history file to support all of the work done plus a mini magazine feature which has been enlarged to A3 for shows. Included with the car are the original steel wheels with up caps and wheel nuts, some spare number plates, the original steering wheel and a pair of matching bucket seats. The pictures say it all and the condition of the body is as good as it looks. The quality of the paintwork is to a show standard and the entire underside in body coloured and immaculate. The front seats are showing some age which I prefer to new seats as this mini is all about charm and history. Free delivery to your door in my curtain sided van within 200 miles of Tiverton. 1954 MORRIS MO OXFORD TRAVELLER
Morris Oxford Traveller (MO series) 29,000 miles from new and in concours condition. Affectionately known as "Jumbo Minors". Registered 1954. This is incredible, the whole interior is in original condition and perfect, the paintwork has been renewed some years ago and the wood work is superb. The car has only had two owners from new (original log book supplied). I have taken a lot of photos of the engine bay and under side which I will email on request. These cars are very scarce as saloons let alone the traveller model.This is the best one available and must be seen to be believed

1969 MORRIS MINI TRAVELLER Mk2 

 Rare, pretty and practical the Mini Traveller, with its wood-clad rear body, is perhaps the perfect city classic.

197,600 of the ‘Woody’ Minis were made between 1960 and 1969, however few survive, adding to their collectability. And with double ‘barn doors’ at the rear, they’re also infinitely more useful than the standard saloon.
Our Traveller was first registered in January 1970, making it one of the last to come out of the Cowley plant.
It’s finished in a delightful lemony cream with new wood having been subject to a total restoration that included the replacement of most of the bodyshell’s panels, floors and subframes. The paint finish, which extends underneath and in the arches, is superb and the panel fit excellent. The chromework is also excellent.
Similarly the interior has been completely retrimmed with new carpets, seats in the correct vinyl and all interior panels replaced.
The suspension and brakes feature largely new components throughout. The wheels are brand new genuine 4.5×10 Minilites, which compliment the Cooper grill.
As with all Minis of this era, it is tremendous fun to drive. The engine runs beautifully with excellent oil pressure, the gearbox is slick and everything works as it should. A very cool little car that’s ready to use and enjoy.
