1913 MINERVA TYPE DD TOURER

Delivered new to Australia, this car was discovered near Sydney in 1962 and shipped to California, where it was restored in the late 1980s. In 1998, it was sold to the UK. Although the body carries plates showing Cann & Co, London, a company apparently associated with Minerva, it is believed the coachwork is actually by Phizackerley Coachworks of Sydney, which of course ties in nicely with the car's original delivery destination. It seems however, that the rear portion of the body was re-made as part of the restoration. This has been very nicely carried out, and the whole car is in lovely condition and running well.
