1971 ASTON MARTIN DBS V8

Introduced in early 1970, the new DBS model received the new long awaited Tadek Marek designed, 5.3 litre V8, all alloy and with 4 cams the proven engine now produced a quoted 320bhp. Built for just two years, 402 DBS V8s were produced before the single headlamp AMV8 was introduced. The last production model built, prior to David Brown relinquishing his ownership of Aston Martin.

The highly collectable DBS V8 we are proud to offer was first registered in 1971 and is offered in its period and original colour combination of Fiesta Red with Natural hides. Fitted with Automatic transmission, original optional Air Conditioning and upgraded with Walnut veneered dashboard finishers. Well maintained throughout the years by respected marque specialists, this car has a well documented history file, containing service invoices and a large selection of MOTs dating back to 1988. Further to mechanical works and general maintenance, the car has benefited in recent years from rebuilt cylinder heads to lead free specifications, replacement of the chassis sills and outriggers, a bare metal re-spray and an interior re-trim. The large history contains original Aston Martin build records, an original owner’s manual and a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certificate.

Inspected, tested and prepared by our Aston Martin Heritage technicians, this handsome example of the iconic 1970s DBS V8, is ready to be enjoyed. Available for viewing and demonstration at our Brackenbury house showrooms in West London.
