FIAT ABARTH  X1/9 RALLY PROTOTIPO Gr.4

We have for you viewing pleasure this veritable feast for the eyes. Introducing our tribute to one of Abarth's craziest concoctions. The X1/9 Abarth Prototipo.
Armed with a very potent 2.0ltr Lancia DOHC engine pumping out a healthy 175hp and weighing only 900kg.
Engine upgrades include Kent camshafts, a worked cylinder head and intake manifold, high compression pistons, baffled Montecarlo sump and dual Weber DCNF carburettors.

Obviously with all of those extra horses on tap the brakes and suspension have been suitably upgraded. It has the necessary big brake conversion with discs all round. Transferring that power to the tarmac is a set of sticky yet road legal Avon CR500 tyres.
9x13 Revolution wheels with 245/50/13 on the rear, 7x13 with 205/55/13 on the front.

Suspension is a full set of adjustable Leda coilovers which have just been fully serviced along with front negative camber. Both front and rear suspension turrets are seam welded with 5mm strengthening plates.
Goodridge aviation hoses and period works style cooling ducts complete the competition theme.

On the inside there is a full Alley Bars roll cage. The OMP seats hold you firmly in place and coupled with Sabelt 6 point harnesses. Both are in date until 2018 and FIA approved. The flocked dashboard houses original Veglia Borletti gauges as per the original works cars.

Ready to rally with an up to date MSA logbook and FIA Rally Pass this Fiat is eligible for a whole host of events and would be welcome on the most prestigious of them.
