1964 CHEVROLET BELAIR SEDAN 2 DOOR
This 1964 Chevy Belair 2 Door Sedan for sale is we think a pretty rare vehicle in the UK, with a production run of just over 180000 2 door V8 Belair’s, we are not aware of another example in the UK at this time quite like this one! it has just the right spec with Full AirRide 327ci small block engine and 4-speed manual gearbox.
Built in St Louis, Missouri and sold new in the state of Colorado by Viner Chevrolet we have the original delivery spec sheet, the Belair was first ordered with performance in mind with the 300hp option 327 a 4 speed and Positraction rear end and not much else in the way of frills! The frame is in excellent condition and the body has virtually no rust.
Finished in its original colour of Ermine White, paint is very good condition with some patina, the trim is all in place and virtually undamaged, inside is in really fantastic condition apparently redone in 2013 including weatherstriping in the factory installed Aqua colour scheme we have a reciept for over $2500 just for interior parts! The carpets and headlining appear to have been done at the same time, the shifter is from Hurst. Steel wheels with beautiful factory hubcaps and nearly new Wide Whitewalls.
The Belair has been built fairly recently and undergone improvement’s since, including full Air Ride suspension using independant pumps for all four corners and tubular front control arms for just the right stance when cruising and laying almost on the floor when parked at your local cruise spot! it’s overall in fantastic condition and will drive anywhere!
Running its factory ordered MATCHING NUMBERS 300hp 327ci Small Block Chevrolet V8 engine recently replaced Holley single four barrel and aftermarket intake manifold with Factory Rams Horns flowing into an old school Cherry Bomb exhaust. A Hurst floor shifted Four speed manual trans keeps with the old school feel. And the Positraction rear end puts the small blocks power to the floor. Under the hood is nicely detailed with a few chrome parts without being over the top.
This car is ready to impress at your local cruise YOU WON’T be parked next to another one!
