1989 ASTON MARTIN V8 ZAGATO VOLANTE |
1 of only 37 Zagato Volante's ever produced and 1 of only 6 that left the factory in right-hand drive with automatic transmission. Ordered new by the famed 'Patrick Collection' and specified in the stunning Malvern Brown over Magnolia with a Brown mohair hood. One of the unique feature about this particular car is that it was ordered new with Recaro Ideal C Type seats rather than the standard Zagato style which were particularly uncomfortable for Alexander Patrick who suffered with a bad back. Complete with its original build sheet, handbooks including the service supplement, Zagato pouch, original warranty certificate plus the old style UK V5 registration document. Upon inspection it's evident how well preserved the car has been since new and has recently had a major service plus new tyres fitted by marque specialists Nicholas Mee & Co. A highly desirable car and one with great future potential!
1979 ASTON MARTIN V8 VANTAGE 'OSCAR INDIA' |
1 of only 40 Aston Martin V8 Vantage V540 'Oscar Indias' produced, this car is fully documented since its purchase by the first owner in October 1979. In all, 134 V8 Vantage 'Oscar Indias' were produced, 40 V540s and 94 V580s. The V540 utilised the upgraded Vantage-spec pistons, before Aston Martin reverted back to using standard-spec pistons for the V580, meaning this car can be considered as one of the very few 'pure' Vantages. In 2014, the car commenced a two-year complete nut-and-bolt restoration by a top Aston Martin restoration specialist, followed by an engine upgrade by world-renowned specialist R.S. Williams from 5.3 to 5.7 Litres, now producing 433bhp and 420lbft of torque, making it more powerful than a period X-Pack example. Although the bodywork, paint and running gear were all totally restored to better than as new condition, it was decided to leave the interior as it benefits from a very nice patina. Very few examples benefit from the comprehensive restoration this particular car has had. Most are re-painted, re-trimmed and serviced yet are described as restored, this car should certainly not be confused with any of those. We have no doubt it's the best presented on the market and would satisfy any discerning collector.
1979 ASTON MARTIN V8 VOLANTE 7.0 LITRE AUTO |
A fantastic example that not only benefits from being the more desirable Automatic transmission variant but had the engine uprated to R.S. Williams's revered 7.0Litre spec. A very well presented car that has been maintained by RSW for over 25 years and is complete with a fantastic history file documenting ownership changes, money spent on maintenance and restoration throughout its life. Fantastic value for money!
