1989 HEALEY Mk4
Healey MK 4 3500cc. A rare opportunity to purchase this unique piece of motoring history. Bearing chassis number 00001, this car was the successor to the iconic big Healey of the 1960s and was made with the approval of Donald Healey. This car is fitted with a 3500cc v8 Rover fuel injected engine giving 194BHP, 220 lbs/ft of torque, 5-speed gearbox, front and rear disc brakes, all independent suspension with 0-60 in 5.9 seconds and a top speed circa 140MPH. Finished in black with grey leather trim and fitted with stainless steel wire wheels, spotlights and stainless steel exhaust. This was the launch car and used for all the press coverage road testing which included tv, newspapers and magazines. This car is the only one bearing the Healey chassis plate and badges as the ownership of the trademark was disputed by Jensen which resulted in the production of these cars commencing under the HMC name.
