1965 PONTIAC GTO
In the early 1960's the Pontiac engineering department, under the guidance of a certain Mr John Z DeLorean, squeezed a 389cu V8 into the mid-size Tempest saloon creating the now legendary GTO model and a muscle car revolution in the USA.
This superb example is a desirable first series GTO and features a great colour combination and specification including the Super Turbine 300 auto gearbox, power steering and optional tachometer.
The car is in superb condition with great detail throughout remaining authentic to original specification. Following its import into the UK, this GTO has featured in two highly significant private collections and invoices on file detail the great amount of fettling completed, by the UK's foremost Pontiac specialist, to ensure that the car drives as well as it looks.
