Paintwork checked with electronic paintwork micrometer and ranges from just a thin coating of 60-100 micro’s confirming that this vehicle has likely never been repainted in 42 years! 

Supply & ownership… This vehicle was supplied brand new by Hawards DAF of Colchester, Essex to the first owner on Thursday 1st August 1974 (first day of the then new M-plate), and sold to the current registered keeper around seventeen months later for £725 on Wednesday 10th March 1976 and remained their pride & joy ever since (DAF owners club members). 
The vehicle may now be nearly 42 years old but has the mileage and 
appearance of a three year old car! 

Recent years… Since 1995 the vehicle has been garaged and carefully 
stored by its last owners, being MOT’d just a few times since. In 2016 
it was re-commissioned, MOT’d and purchased outside the auction market, 
so this vehicle has remained off the radar and never been through the auction 
or retail classic market for sale. Vehicle supplied with… • Two sets of

Original bill of sale from 10/03/1976 when the vehicle changed
