1929 AUSTIN SEVEN 'MULLINER'
In later years, as wear and tear took its toll, many examples were to have their coachwork removed and form the basis of specials and sadly, this practice has meant that the Adelphi is now quite a rarity.
Certainly, it is rare to encounter an example that is in the condition of the car offered here. The subject of extensive restoration, completed in 2009,
it was to win a class award at the Riley Register International Coventry Rally that year.
The car has been known to the Register since 1958, according to records and an old style VE60 green logbook dating back to 1955 is on file, along with
numerous bills etc.
It retains the original Special Series engine and is essentially to factory specification.
Without doubt one of the best survivors of this model, it is worthy of consideration by anyone seeking a quality saloon from this era with a fine pedigree. It also retains the original and distinctive registration number.
