1960 AUSTIN MINI COUNTRYMAN DE-LUXE

This lovely looking, London supplied Mini Estate is believed to be the second oldest surviving Austin Seven Countryman, its build date of 16th June 1960 being three months before the official launch date. As the Heritage certificate confirms, it was supplied in Tartan Red (as it is today) and with the plate that it still sports (4507 MH) to a Mr John Buck by Car Mart Limited and the date of despatch was 25th July 1960. The registration document infers that the car was then listed for sale almost immediately and was purchased by the second owner, a Mr John Hurford who owned the car for the majority of its life. It subsequently made its way onto Ebay in 2011 where it was purchased by the third owner, Mr Nigel Howard who embarked on a sympathetic rebuild. The paint was refreshed to the tune of over £7000 and the woodwork removed, refinished and refitted although the interior Longstone vinyl trim and and cloth headlining have been retained. The original engine and mechanicals have been rebuilt anddetailed and there are invoices for whatever was needed. The fourth and final owner part exchanged it with us and we drove it back from deepest darkest Devon to our Dealership in Sussex. It was wonderful! Supporting documentation is equally as charming, particularly the hand written invoices, old MOT certificates and tax discs which date back from the mid '60s. More recent documentation include exchanges from various Mini Clubs, Registers and owners (to which the car is well known) and a photo album detailing works completed. This really has to be a one off opportunity - one of five preproduction Minis of the earliest type with the straight gearlever, floor start and internal tank (which incidentally is still in its vinyl shroud), four owners and only 78000 miles. This is museum quality and brings a smile to everyone who sees her!

1979 FERRARI 512 BOXER

.Launched in 1976 as more of an update to the 365 GT4 Berlinetta Boxer rather than an all-new model; the Ferrari 512 BB’s name didn’t follow previous Ferrari convention. Instead, it borrowed the format used for the Dino and GT4 at the time, referring to ‘5 litre, 12 cylinders’, rather than the individual cylinder capacity. The higher-torqued 5.0-litre Ferrari flat-12 made this Boxer more responsive and flexible than the 365 BB. A revised gearbox, with reduced pressure in the shift mechanism itself, made gear changes in the 512 BB slicker than in its predecessor, too. This particular Ferrari 512 BB is an original UK-supplied right-hand-drive car, delivered new to its first owner in July 1979. It was handed over at the Maltin Car Concessionaires in Henley-on-Thames by none other than British racing driver, Innes Ireland - winner of the 1961 United States Grand Prix. His signature still adorns the original warranty book that has been with the car since new. This stunning Berlinetta Boxer is now presented in exceptional condition, having spent the last eight months being prepared by our team of Ferrari specialists. It has received a respray in its factory colour of Blu Dino Metallizzato, while the original cream leather interior has been thoroughly detailed with no need for a re-trim. The mechanicals have been overhauled, and all four corners of the suspension have been stripped, re-plated or repainted, and then reassembled to our exacting standards. For enthusiasts and collectors seeking a beautiful flat-12 Ferrari with superb history, it doesn’t get any better than this 512 BB. The low mileage is well documented; the history file is full of old invoices, registration documents and MOTs; and the car even retains its complete and original book pack, period Pioneer radio, jacking kit and space-saver spare wheel. For more information about this Ferrari 512 BB or to arrange an appointment, please contact our sales team on 01474 874555 or 07921 430430.

1970 JENSEN INTERCEPTOR II
£79,950

Finished in yellow with black leather interior
55,000 miles from new
Only one recorded lady owner form new

Supplied new by Jensen main agent Newbury Motors Ltd of Halesowen on 22 October 1970. Incredibly this stunning motor car has had only one registered owner since, a local lady who along with her husband completely and utterly cosseted and cherished her.
Since arriving with us we have commissioned a full strip-down and bare metal repaint at our trusted prize winning body-shop due to age related marks and imperfections. When stripped back the body was found to be in remarkable order, just as we expected. We also had some brightwork refinished, again not due to damage but minor age related fading, which we wanted perfected. Needles to say the re-fit included many new parts and new seals were used throughout. The results to this lengthy but sympathetic restoration are simply stunning. We have also given it a thorough mechanical check-over & service and can confirm she drives superbly.
This beautiful example comes complete with original service book, owners handbook, factory build sheets, original toolkit and a file of old MOT’s and invoices. This car offers a unique opportunity and is a very special example indeed of the rare Interceptor 2.
