1977 FERRARI 308 GTB
RARE FIBREGLASS (VETRORESINA)
Chassis No: 20699

This particular Ferrari 308 GTB is a rare fibreglass (Vetroresina) car - one of fewer than 200 right-hand-drive examples built. Chassis number 20699 was built in 1977, and retains its Ferrari factory-specification electric windows and air-conditioning, as well as the original spare wheel. This beautiful Ferrari 308 GTB is presented in gleaming Rosso Corsa paintwork following a complete gel coat re-spray as part of its extensive and through recommissioning. This included - engine detailed as was the bay during the major service which included belts, tensioner bearings, valve clearances and all new hoses, the A/C system was reinstated, brakes overhauled, new shock absorbers and springs with the removal and recoating of all suspension components, complete steering overhaul , rust treat – the chassis was stripped, prepared, recoated and finally wax treated for future protection. Lastly a complete sympathetic restoration of the interior consisting of Nero hide and Red carpets. The history file that accompanies this Ferrari 308 GTB includes original invoices and registration documents, not to mention the complete and original leather pouch and books. Its current odometer reading of just over 38,300 miles leaves plenty of scope to be enjoyed thoroughly by the next owner. The Ferrari 308 GTB is not merely a great sports car, though - it is also an excellent choice for collectors, being the company's first two-seater mid-engined V8, which has paved the way for every eight-cylinder model since. It is even more desirable with the rare and early fibreglass body, and there are few examples that can be said to be in such excellent condition as this car. 1979 FERRARI 512 BOXER

.Launched in 1976 as more of an update to the 365 GT4 Berlinetta Boxer rather than an all-new model; the Ferrari 512 BB’s name didn’t follow previous Ferrari convention. Instead, it borrowed the format used for the Dino and GT4 at the time, referring to ‘5 litre, 12 cylinders’, rather than the individual cylinder capacity. The higher-torqued 5.0-litre Ferrari flat-12 made this Boxer more responsive and flexible than the 365 BB. A revised gearbox, with reduced pressure in the shift mechanism itself, made gear changes in the 512 BB slicker than in its predecessor, too. This particular Ferrari 512 BB is an original UK-supplied right-hand-drive car, delivered new to its first owner in July 1979. It was handed over at the Maltin Car Concessionaires in Henley-on-Thames by none other than British racing driver, Innes Ireland - winner of the 1961 United States Grand Prix. His signature still adorns the original warranty book that has been with the car since new. This stunning Berlinetta Boxer is now presented in exceptional condition, having spent the last eight months being prepared by our team of Ferrari specialists. It has received a respray in its factory colour of Blu Dino Metallizzato, while the original cream leather interior has been thoroughly detailed with no need for a re-trim. The mechanicals have been overhauled, and all four corners of the suspension have been stripped, re-plated or repainted, and then reassembled to our exacting standards. For enthusiasts and collectors seeking a beautiful flat-12 Ferrari with superb history, it doesn’t get any better than this 512 BB. The low mileage is well documented; the history file is full of old invoices, registration documents and MOTs; and the car even retains its complete and original book pack, period Pioneer radio, jacking kit and space-saver spare wheel. For more information about this Ferrari 512 BB or to arrange an appointment, please contact our sales team on 01474 874555 or 07921 430430.

Additional Information / Service History

Ferrari's 400 Automatic - its first production car with an automatic gearbox - was revealed at the Paris motor show in 1976. Building on the success of the 365 GT4 2+2, the 400’s styling was all but identical, with the additions of bolt-on wheels, a shallow chin spoiler and four large tail lamps instead of six.
As the name suggests, the Ferrari’s engine was enlarged to 4.8 litres, with the V12’s power increasing to 335bhp. A top speed of nigh on 150mph was possible, and the Ferrari 400 also had a 120-litre fuel tank, making it a magnificent grand tourer.
While a five-speed manual gearbox was available on the 400, most buyers opted for the three-speed torque converter. For fast, long journeys or gentle cruising, this automatic gearbox suited the Ferrari 400 perfectly.
This particular Ferrari 400 Automatic was delivered in April 1979. Its first owner was Mr Jim Wallis, owner of The Otford Group, which later purchased the Graypaul Ferrari business in 1985. The original factory specification, which it retains to this day, is Rosso Cherry with Cream hide, red seat stripes and red carpets.
The history file that accompanies the Ferrari details frequent service and maintenance work going back to the 1980s, and shows the car was exercised regularly. More recently, this 400 Automatic has received a major service, comprehensive suspension overhaul, new rear exhaust boxes and a fresh set of Michelin XWX tyres - and has driven barely 1300 miles since.
The Ferrari 400 represents remarkable value in today’s market. These cars were Ferrari’s flagship offering when new, with a powerful carburetted V12 engine and enough space for four plus luggage. This 400 Automatic remains a superb luxurious classic and is sure to delight its next owner with its character and class.

1972 FERRARI 365 GTB/4 'DAYTONA' BERLINETTA - FOSKERS

"CLASSIC OF THE DAY"
Featuring
1972  FERRARI 365 GTB/4 'DAYTONA' BERLINETTA

Vehicle Details
Model: Ferrari 365 GTB/4 'Daytona' Berlinetta Colour: Blu Dino Metallizzato Interior: Beige hide with black stripes Mileage: 50,400 Miles

Transmission: Five-speed manual Year: 1972 Price: £725,000.00

Introduced at the Paris motor show in 1968, the Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Berlinetta - more commonly known as the ‘Daytona’ - was a direct replacement for the legendary Ferrari 275 GTB. Built by Scaglietti, the Pininfarina-designed Ferrari Daytona was the work of a young Leonardo Fioravanti, who would go on to pen many other Ferraris including the 512 BB, 308 GTB, 288 GTO and F40.
The Ferrari Daytona’s engine is a larger, longer version of the V12 in the Ferrari 275 GTB/4, with a capacity of 4.4 litres mated to six Weber carburettors, running through a five-speed gearbox. The performance is truly mighty, even by modern standards, with a 1971 road test in Autocar magazine recording a 0-60mph time of 5.4 seconds for the Ferrari Daytona, and a top speed of 174mph.
This Ferrari Daytona, chassis number 15387, is one of just 158 right-hand-drive cars imported to the UK. The rare original factory colour, which it retains to this day, is metallic blue (Blu Dino Metallizzato) with beige hide, black inserts and beige carpets. The complete ownership history of this Ferrari Daytona accompanies the car, along with a substantial file of invoices, MOTs and registration documents.
It was ordered in February 1972 by Ian Anthony Car Sales Limited of Bury, Lancashire, and was first registered in the UK on 22 March 1973. From the date of delivery, this Ferrari Daytona passed between several motor traders before being registered to the Rob Roy Garage in Peterculter, Aberdeenshire in June 1975. The Daytona was traded again in 1983, returning to Lancashire before going to new owners in London a year later.
A no-expense-spared body restoration of the Ferrari Daytona was carried out in 1989 by Maranello Concessionaires, and the car returned to Scotland in 1990 after being purchased by its fourth owner. More recently, this Ferrari was subject to a meticulously-documented mechanical overhaul by Terry Hoyle in 2003. The Ferrari Daytona was subsequently tested by Mark Hales for Octane magazine in August 2004, alongside a Ferrari 365 GTC/4. An original copy of the magazine accompanies the car.
This wonderful Ferrari Daytona has driven just 8000 miles over the last 10 years, and the history file includes invoices for regular maintenance throughout this period. The Ferrari's odometer now shows a well-documented 50400 miles from new, and it is presented in immaculate condition following comprehensive detailing.
