1979 ASTON MARTIN V8 VANTAGE 'OSCAR INDIA'

1 of only 40 Aston Martin V8 Vantage V540 'Oscar Indias' produced, this car is fully documented since its purchase by the first owner in October 1979. In all, 134 V8 Vantage 'Oscar Indias' were produced, 40 V540s and 94 V580s. The V540 utilised the upgraded Vantage-spec pistons before Aston Martin reverted back to using standard-spec pistons for the V580, meaning this car can be considered as one of the very few 'pure' Vintages

In 2014, the car commenced a two-year complete nut-and-bolt restoration by a top Aston Martin restoration specialist, followed by an engine upgrade by world-renowned specialist R.S. Williams from 5.3 to 5.7 Litres, now producing 433bhp and 420lbft of torque, making it more powerful than a period X-Pack example. Although the bodywork, paint and running gear were all restored to better than new condition, it was decided to leave the interior as it benefits from a very nice patina. Very few examples benefit from the extensive restoration this particular car has had. Most are re-painted, re-trimmed and serviced yet are described as restored, this car should certainly not be confused with any of those

The car is accompanied by a comprehensive history file, which includes the recent R.S. Williams invoice and engine performance data sheets relating to the engine rebuild. We have no doubt it's the best presented on the market and would satisfy any discerning collector.

1952 MORGAN PLUS-4 (4 SEATER( FLAT RAD

A delightful example of these charming and capable cars that remained with its first owner until 2005, with only 3 since. Many flat radiators have had their 2088cc Standard Vanguard engines upgraded to the more powerful TR2 specification but PGP 37 retains her original output and is all the better for it in our opinion.

The history file has invoices to prove an excellent maintenance programme in recent years and includes 16 MOT’s. Supplied fully serviced and ready for immediate use she is eligible for a wide range of classic tours and rallies.
Bullet proof residual value and a delight to own.

1950 MGA 1600 MARK 1 ROADSTER

The MGA replaced the MG TF 1500 Midget and represented a complete styling break from MG’s earlier sports cars. Launched to the public at the 1955 Frankfurt motor show with its radically streamlined steel body the MGA was a big leap forward in technology for MG. Concerned about how such a radically streamlined car would be accepted, MG chose to debut two prototype cars at the Le Mans 24-hour race. The prototyped cars finished a very respectable 5th and 6th in class. Powered by the new B – Series engine that had recently debuted in the MG Magnette saloon. The 1489 cc engine produced 68 bhp initially but was soon uprated to 72 bhp. Offering impressive performance with a 0-60 mph time of just 16 seconds and onto a top speed of 98 mph. During its production, a total of 101,081 cars were sold with a mere 5869 being produced for the home market. Other significant improvements included hydraulic Lockheed drum brakes all round, rack and pinion steering and independent coil spring suspension to the front and semi-elliptic springs to the rear.
The MGA 1600 Mark 1 Roadster offered here at Autostorico was first registered in 1960. This stunning example is finished in traditional Old English White with Red leather interior. Showing an indicated 58,783 miles this beautiful car benefits from a recent full body repaint, new interior trim, chrome work and a full carburetor rebuild. Specification highlights include; Original MGA steering wheel, wire wheels with knock off spinners and tonneau cover.

A truly unique opportunity to own such a stunning example of a true British classic, which will certainly appreciate over time.

1987 VOLKSWAGEN GOLF CONVERTIBLE GTi

Cotswold Classic Car Restorations Ltd are delighted to be the agents selling this unique, highly desirable vehicle on behalf of the current owner.

This limited edition ‘All White’ convertible GTi is very special indeed and for sale at exactly the right time of year to enjoy it to its full potential. Showing a genuine mileage of just 21,157 miles at the time of consignment, supported by all MoT’s, this car has been the property of only a handful of owners, many of whom had a very close connection to Sir David Jason, the famous British Actor, and Icon.

Sir David bought the car in May 1988 when it was one year old and registered it to Myfanwy Talog, his long standing partner. It was then transferred to Sidney Law, Sir David’s manager at the time. After nine years the car, still showing nominal mileage, was passed on to the godfather of Sir David’s children, John Williams. Whilst owned by John Williams, the car was awarded 140/140 points in the VW Owners Club GTi Concours event; a testament to the resounding quality of this car and the care with which it had been treated. The presentation of the car today is no different. Alpine White coachwork matches the hood, white bumpers, white interior and adjustable door mirrors, while the front spoiler and white painted alloy sports wheels give this limited edition car, elegance, and presence.

The 1780CC transverse four-cylinder inline engine with fuel injection performs faultlessly, and the driving experience as corroborated from VW literature is exhilarating. This car is offered with UK V5C and a valid MoT certificate to August 2017.

This is not only a highly attractive, sporting and fun car, D755 CVV is completely matchless. With only 138 made, this is the only one in this superb ‘as new’ condition with its compelling heritage, the vast majority of which is documented in an outstanding history file.

1964 HUMBER HAWK SERIES III
 MANUAL With OVERDRIVE

Odometer reads 35,000 miles, claimed correct with the V5C showing four recorded keepers. The most original Humber Hawk I have come across, presented in exceptional condition and finished in its original mid green metallic paint with contrasting green interior, which is an exception. The beautiful burr walnut dash panel is unmarked and gives a sense of quality to the Hawk. I must say upon driving this big Rootes group saloon it is, without doubt, one of the best early 60s saloons I have driven, the 2267cc motor pulls superbly and the 4-speed column change is as tight as a drum. Flick into overdrive and you're cruising at 70 mph. Supplied new to ECP Engineering LTD, Stamford, Lincolnshire. Then in 65 passing over to Peterborough where it appears it spent most of its life. YTL206 is, without doubt, a lovely old Humber which shows no signs of any welding repairs or major body work. I think you will have guessed, I like this old saloon and trust you will to. Supplied with 1 years MOT, V5C, original green log book, expired MOT certificates, some invoicing and motoring ephemera. Delivery arranged.

PRICE: £12,950
DELIVERY AND SHIPPING CAN BE ARRANGED - ALL VEHICLES SOLD SERVICED AND WITH NEW MOT

NOTEAlthough we take great care to describe our vehicles accurately and present them correctly with valid MOT.
No warranty is given or implied with his vehicle. An Independent Engineers Report can be supplied with this
