AM General Hummer H1 Very Rare RHD - Just 3,800 Miles

AM GENERAL HUMMER H1

Originally based on the military M998 Humvee, being the U.S Armed Forces vehicle of choice and after being at the forefront of U.S Army propaganda, public eyes were immediately in gaze at the colossal nature of the Humvee. The Humvee received such a large following that a campaign to create a road going version was created and swiftly faced by Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The AM General Hummer was first offered to civilians as an off-road vehicle in March, 1992. The Hummer was offered in 3 common variants, the convertible soft-top, a four-door hardtop, and an Alpha Wagon bodied model. Other less known variants included a two door pickup and a four door slant-back version and production remained strong up until 2006. 5 different engines and 3 automatic transmissions were offered along with a vast array of optional extras. AMG introduced a third engine in 1996, the 6.5-litre V8 turbodiesel producing 205bhp at 3,400rpm and delivering a stump-pulling 440lb/ft of torque, transforming the Hummer into the ultimate on and off road vehicle.
Although similar to its military predecessor in appearance, the Hummer offered comforts that it's prior could only have dreamt of. The interior features 4 seats with a large centre console between the rear passengers, air-conditioning and electric windows, and a mini TV screen is situated by the front passenger seat.
This Hummer H1 believed to be one of only a handful of examples built, is a very rare Right Hand Drive "Pick-Up" variant and was first supplied new to Australia in 1996. The car comes with the original Australian handbooks and RHD supplement. This striking H1 was first registered in the UK in July 1999 and was purchased by our fastidious owner to add to his collection in 2008. Presented in exceptional condition reflected by such low mileage, the car is finished in stunning Green Metallic with a grey interior. The car benefits from a substantial amount of options including the rare 'SnugTop' fiberglass rear shell in matching colour, only available through authorised AM General dealers and a fully carpeted rear bed in matching grey cloth. Other extras include HD One Piece Wheels with Beadlock, Central Tire Inflation allowing the driver to adjust tyre pressures whilst driving, Air conditioning, Power Windows, an Auxiliary Fuel Tank creating a combined capacity of 160 Litres and a passenger DVD player.
The car shows only 3,800 Miles covered from new. Stored and maintained by DK, it has received every fragment of maintenance necessary and is in extraordinary condition.
The car is UK registered and ready to be enjoyed immediately. It represents a very interesting opportunity to purchase what is without a doubt one of the finest examples of an early Hummer H1.

1967 Chevrolet Camaro 350 auto

1967 Chevrolet Camaro 350 auto

Registered on the 23rd December 1966, Mr Arnold Wondal of Covina, California sure knew how to treat himself for Christmas by purchasing this 1967 Camaro 350 V8.
We have the (very fragile) 1967 Owner Protection Plan and New Vehicle Warranty book with the Protect-o-Plate with Mr Wondals details stamped into it. Also in the files are many receipts that are as old as the car and very delicate!
In 2013 the car was imported to Holland by a dealer with the intention to complete and sell, but he never had the time. All import duties were paid then. We purchased the car, imported it into the UK, completed the NOVA docs and went about converting the lights to UK spec and correcting any points we felt needed addressing. This included a new battery, new complete hand brake cable, new rear brake cylinder, new UK lights, new steering wheel, new rear light bezels, new valve cover gaskets. a new hood hinge and a fresh MOT with no advisories. We thoroughly cleaned the Carter Performance carb and the car now runs extremely sweet.
The car now wears its UK number plates with pride and has a new UK registration document. We have two sets of keys.
The car has new tyres, new exhaust and the whole car is completely rust free. This is a genuine Californian car and we have the old US plates, too.
We are 5 minutes from junction 5 off the M20. Viewing strictly by appointment. Call us on 07711645465 to view the car.

1978 FERRARI 308 GTS

This left-hand drive Ferrari 308 GTS was supplied new in 1978 in the US (hence the twin exhaust pipes) and is the desirable Steel Bodies Carburettor example.
Finished in one of the most impressive colour combinations of Black exterior with Black leather interior, it is simply breathtaking.
The previous owner discovered this car in a large European private collection, where it had been stored since 1996.
It was taken directly to Ferrari marque specialists for inspection and was found to be in highly original condition. A full service was also carried out and the cam-belts replaced. This work has all been completed within the one year and a full condition report will be supplied in the history file.
There has been a documented Speedometer change which accounts for the low mileage currently shown on the speedometer.
The mileage listed is the mileage of the car in total.
Supplied with a fresh MoT, the original owner pouch containing the owner manual, service book & Ferrari service centres, this steel bodied carburettor model has to be worthy of consideration to any Ferrari collector.
The service history consist of the following:

04/03/87 - 53,027 Km - Ferrari
02/05/89 - 58,430 km - Ferrari
12/06/91 - 58,975 km - Ferrari
04/09/14 - xx,xxx Miles - Ferrari Specialist
30/07/15 - 41,813 Miles - Ferrari Specialist

For our part, following our 170 Point AMARI Inspection, we have carried out & completed a full 'nuts & bolts' restoration on the vehicle, paying particular attention to the:
- interior, restoring the seats and the door cards to the black leather it was originally optioned with using Factory Reclaimed Leather
- exterior, addressing any immediate, medium and long term corrosion
- engine, replacing oil seals, re-setting the carburetors, and replacing the non Ferrari components with genuine Ferrari ones
- detailing, checking all visible and non visible parts of the car are in as good a condition and state of preparation.

We now have a leather bound & bespoke folder of some 400+ images, detailing: how the car looked originally, all the work we carried out, and how it is presented now, which we will be passing on to the next very lucky & serious Ferrari Collector.

This magnificent example is surely the very best prepared and presented Ferrari 308 GTS anywhere !!

WHEELS & TYRES
The car sits on Falken FK07U Tyres all around:

Front: 205 x 70 x R14 (95H)
Rear: 205 x 70 x R14 (95H)

The Ferrari 308 GTS was launched at the Paris Motor show in 1975 as a direct replacement for the Dino 246. Designed by Pininfarina with sweeping curves and aggressive lines the 308 has gone on to become one of the most recognised Ferrari's of all time. The Targa topped Ferrari 308 GTS version was introduced in 1977 and was made famous by the TV series "Magnum PI". Fitted with a 2.9 litre DOHC V8 engine fitted with four Weber 40DCNF Carburettors that produced 255bhp the 308 went from 0 to 60mph in 6.5 seconds and on to a top speed of 159 mph. In 1980 fuel injection was added to the 308 and power went down from 255 bhp to 214 bhp however two years later four vales per cylinder were added giving quattrovalvole models 240bhp. The 308 was manufactured in both GTB and GTS forms from 1977 to 1985 before being replaced by the 328.
The body of the car was originally made in fibreglass, which changed to steel in 1977 and arguably vastly improved the car and handling. The engine was originally offered with Carburettor, but changed to Fuel Injection in 1980, followed by a Quattro Valve QV Model in 1982.
The Steel Bodied Carburettor models are of particular interest to the collectors as they all represent the original car with the improvement of the Steel Body.
The interest is increasing at an exponential rate, which has reflected in the values which are almost increasing on a weekly basis.
