Following acquisition by the vendor a number of years ago for use in a major American film production which was shot in the UK, this right-hand drive Fleetmaster was then painted "at great expense" in the livery of a New York City cab of the late 1940s and has been earning its keep ever since - featuring in a number of advertisements and photo shoots.
Powered by Chevrolet's 3.5-litre straight six engine coupled to a three-speed vacuum-assisted transmission, it is described as being in "good" condition as regards its bodywork, yellow and red paintwork, electrics and gearbox with "good/original" blue leather interior. Now displaying some 120,000 miles on its odometer, this striking taxi cab is sure to turn heads wherever it goes and must offer good earning potential in the film and advertising industries. Offered with Swansea V5 document, the vehicle is MoT exempt.
