2000 GINETTA G4 COUPE COMPETITION CAR
manufactured by DARE
Ginetta G4 Coupe Competition Car

The Ginetta G4 is a classic British sports car originally produced in the 60s by the Walklett family. Compact, light and nimble, it was the car that put the Ginetta name on the map with its ability to provide giant David verses Goliath performances through various capable hands in motorsport but yet still suitable as a daily driving sports car on the road. Original G4s can still be seen winning races in historic motorsport today. The Walkletts continued to produce various successful models up until the late 80s when they sold the company but by the mid- 90s the Walkletts had been approached by a Japanese consortium to see they would reproduce the G4 again. Under licence a new company called Design and Research Engineering (DARE) was formed and re manufacture began. Visually the car was virtually identical to its 60s brother but technically it was brought up to date with fully independent suspension and modern Ford running gear. In motorsport the new G4 has continued the success of the original.
Very occasionally used examples come up for sale and we are delighted to offer the finest DARE G4 we have ever had through our hands. Originally manufactured in 2000 it has been painstaking rebuilt, developed and maintained by Northampton Motorsport into probably the quickest road legal G4 produced. It has twice been overall class winner in the Ginetta speed championship and would also make a front running car in the CSCC future classic series as well as other road going championships.
This car has been meticulously maintained is still in immaculate condition throughout and ready for immediate use.
