1966 ALFA ROMEO BERTONE SPRINT 2600

This was the Flagship model of Alfa’s range in the 1960’s. It has rich dark red coachwork and new soft cream leather. There are only 64k miles on the clock and it is mechanically sound having been newly serviced and MoT’d by us. The RHD version is pretty rare.
These cars were designed by Giugiaro (very early in his career) and with coachwork by Bertone they are Italian design through and through. The car (Chassis 854481) has a superb 6 cylinder twin overhead cam all aluminium engine (2585 cc) and excellent gearbox and brakes. It spent some years in Edinburgh before going South and was virtually laid up for 12 years hence accounting for its low mileage. It was refurbished in 2006 and has had some £7k spent on it. The coachwork is good with one or two minor age-related cracks in the paint finish and the bright work is fine too. It drives superbly. At this price it is something of a snip for a 1960’s Alfa Romeo which must appreciate like the others.
Price - £28,350
