FERRARI TRANSPORTER
Ferrari Transporter – OM 150N Rolfo
In 1969 Ferrari bought this OM 150N truck with a six cylinder 8 litre diesel and sent it to Rolfo Coachworks to be fitted with a transporter body capable of moving 3 race cars and the necessary kit to run them.
The Scuderia operated the truck for eleven seasons during which it was a familiar sight in the paddocks at race circuits across Europe, carrying both Grand Prix cars and Long Distance Sports Cars, entries for the likes of Ickx, Lauda, Rodriguez, Andretti etc.
Following its retirement from service with Ferrari in the early 1980’s, the transporter was acquired by a Swiss Ferrari collector before finding its way to a motor racing museum in Japan, its current owner bringing the transporter back to the UK in last year.
For sale in original condition and still wearing its famous prancing horse livery, this is an extraordinary opportunity for the Ferrari enthusiast.
