1997 ASTON MARTIN VIRAGE VOLANTE - LHD
A superb example of the Virage Volante which, being built in 1997, is one of the last to be hand built at the Newport Pagnell works.
This particular example is finished in a stunning Dark blue (Porsche Nachtblau Metallic) with Parchment hides piped blue. Dark blue carpets and the dark blue convertible hood, which is in excellent condition, finish this elegant and timeless colour scheme. In addition to the usual luxurious Virage Volante specification, this particular car is fitted with the OZ wheels commonly fitted to the 6.3 litre cars. Being a late built model, the car also benefits from the 4 speed ‘Torqueflite’ automatic transmission (rather than the 3 speed version fitted to earlier cars), later and more comfortable seats and individual dashboard instrumentation.
First registered in Holland where it formed part of a significant collection of classic cars, this car was imported into the UK in 2012 where is it was UK registered. Also at that time, our own Aston Martin Heritage workshops carried out some cosmetic and mechanical works and subsequently this car visited the Aston Martin Works for a major service and commissioning during the summer of 2015. Our recent pre-sales inspection confirms that this low mileage example is in excellent order throughout.
Presented in excellent condition, this car is now ready to be used for comfortable ‘roof down’ cruising during this summer season and will be supplied with a fresh service, MOT and 12 months warranty.
