1960 AUSTIN HEALEY 3000 CONVERTIBLE

We are proud to offer this very nice Austin Healey 3000

Mk1 finished in Primrose Yellow with Black interior. The car has been restored

around 15 years ago and been beautifully kept since then with the body work

still in great condition. The engine runs perfectly and starts up first time

every time. It is very rare for a car of this age to have had only 3 previous

owners and an extremely low mileage such as this. The mileage on the speedometer

is 28,011 and from an inspection of the paperwork in the file this is probably correct.

The mot certificates go back as far as 1985 with a mileage of 16,055 miles

and from this date there is a recorded progression up to the 28,011 miles currently recorded. This is also backed up by the previous owner who has covered a mere 

3,500-4000 since purchasing the car in 1999. 

The car comes complete with a comprehensive history file

with a large number of receipts and previous MOT's together with a British Motor

Industry Heritage Certificate confirming its originality.. Very realistically priced at £49,950

1971 Jensen Interceptor finished in Gold with recently re-trimmed black hide interior. The 6300cc engine employed in these earlier Interceptors was the most economical and reliable of all of the Chrysler engines and this one is still going strong, holding excellent oil pressure and running at the correct temperature. Since 1980 it has been the property of an enthusiastic owner who only parted with it in 2013 after 33 years of ownership. The car comes with a healthy history file containing invoices for maintenance over the period of his ownership. Recently the car has been fitted with brand new alloy wheels and white wall tyres and has been completely re-trimmed with new black hides and new black high quality carpet. The car is not perfect and will shortly require some improvement to the coachwork which we consider is reflected in the asking price. The values of these cars has risen in the past couple of years in line with other classic cars of this period but still looks stunning value when compared with many other marques such as Aston Martin. We consider this to be excellent value at £27,500
