1958 MG MAGNETTE ZB VARITONE

 

We sold this Magnette to a very good customer of ours late last year - it is due back here shortly due to his change of plans. light grey over dark grey with a lovely dark red interior.
A good restoration was carried out some years go. The bodywork shows no signs of rust and the paintwork is clean and free of blemishes. The interior is absolutely lovely with excellent leather seats, a replacement carpet and refurbished woodwork. The engine bay is clean and well detailed and the bumpers have been rechromed.
The first owner kept the car right up to 2002 - it has had three owners since. There is a detailed history log going back some years showing regular care and maintenance.
The engine and gearbox were overhauled 15,000 miles ago. The car comes with an original workshop manual. It drives very well and has completed a tour of Holland last year. A rare find nowadays, this Magnette looks very handsome and is ready for regular use
