1966 ASTON MARTIN DB6 VANTAGE
 Image
An original 1966 Aston Martin DB6 Vantage Manual, first registered in March 1966 by Skellys of Motherwell under registration number DGM 1 as shown in the original old style green Registration Book. Re-registered later in 1966 with current plate FGM 440D. The car was raced at the St Horsfall meeting in 1974.
Subsequently the car was kept in Wales for more than 15 years during which time it had a bare metal re-spray in its original Fiesta Red colour. The car retained its original Natural upholstery, however new carpeting in the cabin and boot were added to maintain the original combination along with the Webasto sunroof. Avon Turbo Speed Radials on chrome wire wheels and two eared spinners complement the car.
This DB6 Vantage has enjoyed 6 owners in total all of whom are documented. It has had extensive refurbishment work completed over the last 22 years undertaken by ourselves to include engine, suspension, braking, fuel, cooling and exhaust systems.
A very comprehensive history file accompanies the car. The car is currently undergoing a bare metal re spray and associated restoration and is offered for sale with a choice of colour and trim to be added, please contact us for full details.
