The TF21 was the last Alvis model with a total of 106 produced and only 20 with drop head coachwork. The six cylinder three litre 'straight six' power unit provides a smooth 150bhp and a top speed of nearly 120mph allowing for comfortable cruising in modern traffic. This particular example was delivered new on 1st July 1966 to Mr Porfyratos of London SW1. The second and current owner acquired the car 2nd February 1969 and it has been meticulously maintained ever since. The genuine 50600 miles can be verified by the substantial history file which will be with the car. With chrome wire wheels and power assisted steering and the car in very good condition, this offers, what must be a unique opportunity to obtain such a rare and desirable model.

1963-1967 ALVIS TE21/TF21

Overview

Easily distinguished from its TD predecessor by those stacked twin headlamps that were so fashionable in the early 1960s, the TE gained a new cylinder head that lifts power output to 130bhp. Both saloon and drophead were available, and it’s the latter that makes serious money today. Power steering became a desirable option from 1965, but Alvis saved the best for last. Just 106 TFs were built, but they come with a triple-carb 150bhp engine, improved gearbox and uprated suspension. After 1967 Alvis concentrated on armoured vehicles. Convertible prices in brackets.
