Land Rover Range Rover 3.5 V8 52,000 miles, tuscan blue, palamino beige interior
A delightfully original & unrestored early suffix A example which still wears original paint. The subject of a comprehensive feature in the January 2015 edition of Land Rover Monthly magazine, some of the photos of which can be seen here. It is the opinion of both myself and the journalist of the article that a more original and well preserved example would be impossible to find. We have found no evidednce of welding or structural repairs anywhere on the vehicle and the paintwork, most of which appears original, although not perfect has mellowed very nicely with age. The seats have been re trimmed due to the usual cracking of the original palamino vinyl seats, this was done by Nationwide Trim, following the original style very closely. The rest of the interior including the headlining and rubber flooring is original & correct, right down to the original and now almost impossible to source choke lever. In 2002 the vehicle was subject to a very through and sympathetic re commissioning which involved replacing numerous suspension bushes, hoses and rubber componenets along with gaskets, timing chains and a major service. The result of this work is a vehicle that now drives as tight and straight an any example you are likely to fine anywhere. This now represents a unique opportunity to acquire a very special early 2 door Range Rover, the like of which is unlikely to ever be offered again.

1970-1995 RANGE ROVER Classic
Overview
Inventor of the SUV and a classless conveyance, the Range Rover introduced the joys of off-roading to a whole new clienetele. Powered by Rover’s ex-Buick V8 and using similar chassis technology as the Land Rover, its off-road ability was beyond reproach, while the hose-clean interior proved just the ticket for those with an active lifestyle. The styling was so clean that the Range Rover was at home in the politest places. It became more luxurious through the years, but its appeal remained undimmed during a 25-year production run.£1998
