1977 Fiat Giardiniera

 We are delighted to offer this exceptionally rare Fiat 500 Giardiniera onto the market. The "Giardiniera" (station wagon) featured the standard engine laid on its side, the wheelbase was lengthened by 10 cm to provide a more convenient rear seat and came it equipped with full-length sunroof. These station wagon 500's are very rarely on the market and this is the first we have owned in over 15 years.This beautiful example has spent recent years in the Italian town of Oderzo. The car appears to be a good quality older restoration that has come to us in nicely presented condition. The paintwork and body are of a very good standard, the chrome work is bright and the interior is lovely with an honest, original feel.
On the road our Fiat is fabulous fun with a true sporty feel. The car is an absolute delight to drive and offers a unique driving experience with great handling and a lively, strong engine. You really feel every bump in the road, the 500 is great in and out of corners and whilst very small, is surprisingly practical with a good rear seat and large rear storage area. The Fiat 500 is the iconic city car and the station wagon model offers this with the luxury of more room for the children and lots of space for the shopping bags!
